It is best to choose your lashing straps according to the type of use they will be put to.
Fundamentally, two performance features will be of interest to you depending on the lashing strap application:
- In classic tie-down lashing, the STF (standard tension forces) will be of primary importance for you.
- If you use the lashing straps for direct lashing / diagonal lashing, please select the lashing strap type according to the required lashing capacity (LC).
The corresponding values for our lashing straps are displayed. You will find them on the label or tag at the end of the lashing strap, which displays all the most important performance characteristics. This ensures faster processing and shorter downtimes, especially during official inspections. In addition to lashing straps, we also offer a wide range of accessories for your tension straps.
A distinction is made between two types of lashing straps: Single-part and two-part tension straps:
- The single-part lashing strap consists of a strap and ratchet or clamping lock as a tensioning element. It is primarily used for bundling or strapping cargo items into one cargo unit.
- The two-part lashing strap consists of the short end and the long end. The short end consists of a short, non-adjustable strap with a ratchet or clamping lock as a tensioning element and an end fitting (usually a hook) as a connecting element. The long end is a long strap that an end fitting is attached to as a connecting element.
