Anti-slip mat pad
Anti-slip mats are an absolute must and belong on every vehicle (box van, transporter, truck, etc.) that is even remotely involved in the transport of goods. Under certain conditions, using this anti-slip mat means that only three lashing straps are needed to secure the load instead of 17, because the friction on the vehicle floor is increased by more than three times.
During inspections, using anti-slip mat pads shows that you are concerned with the issue of cargo securing and that it will be dealt with accordingly on the spot.
If you’re struggling to imagine what this product feels like, just think of a washing machine slip mat from the DIY store. Because this is made of exactly the same material. The anti-slip mats offered do not need to be cut to size. You do not have to cover the entire vehicle floor, only individual points where there is contact between the vehicle floor and the goods (e.g. six small pieces on a Euro pallet). You can also find larger rolls to cut to size yourself in the shop.
