Securing cargo in motorhomes is an important topic that challenges motorhome owners in very different ways. This involves fixing pieces of luggage, tools, attachments or tent poles. With the new angle airline track, LaSi24 has created a new alternative that is set to quickly establish itself on the market.
It is often suggestions from customers that lead to the development of new products. It was the same here: the angle airline track from LaSi24 was developed as a new profile variant because until now there were hardly any alternatives for the safe, attractive and convenient stowage of loads in the rear garage of motorhomes. We have designed a 1100 mm-long angle track for right-angled mounting especially for this market segment. The new angle track of the “slim semi-circular” type is supplied fully assembled.
Including the end caps, the airline track measures 1050 mm, with deviations of 5 mm possible. The angle plate used has a length of 1100 mm. The holes for fixing are drilled at 150 mm intervals. The solution features all the advantages of the airline track: With minimal weight and compact dimensions, it can withstand the greatest loads. The high lashing point strength is superior to other lashing track systems.
The new angle airline track from LaSi24 comes from European production and comes in useful not only in motorhomes but also in many other areas with similar space conditions.
Airline tracks are available as countersink, rectangular or semi-circular profiles in various dimensions and versions. In the LaSi24 online shop alone, you get more than 80 hits when searching for airline tracks. Many profiles are also suitable for retrofitting and are often found in motorhomes. The system solution is a popular method of form-fit cargo securing in conjunction with locking rods or shoring beams.
The many combination and application possibilities are among the great advantages of this product type. There is a wide range of end fittings, shoring beams and lashing straps. This makes it possible to realise a wide variety of cargo securing ideas.
Airline tracks have ousted other cargo securing systems from the market, not least because they are so easy to install. The tracks are ideally fixed with countersunk screws, but can also be riveted or glued. Special adhesives are available for this purpose. However, this solution should only be used in conjunction with screws or rivets. The adhesive only serves as reinforcement. Like the screws, the rivet heads should also be countersunk in the rail. Protruding screw or rivet heads make it impossible to insert fittings / end fittings at the relevant points.
