Practical fastening
This fitting primarily serves to enable a standard lashing strap to be used in combination with the airline track as accessory.
The double fitting is fundamentally more durable than the simple airline track end fitting (single fitting) due to its robust construction. Since the airline track is loaded on two points rather than one, the applied force is automatically distributed and thus reduces the risk of the lashing track becoming deformed.
